The MythoSelf Experience

MythoSelf Morphology 101

N.B. - This is the first of a series of revisions of postings regarding the MythoSelf Process posted by Joseph Riggio on the MythoSelf-tm e-list hosted on www.yahoogroups.com (mythoself-tm@yahoogroups.com)

The core structure of what we do inside the MythoSelf Process is designed around Roye Fraser's "Generative Imprint" Model. The "Generative Imprint" Model describes a movement towards a Generalized Desired State (GDS), a massive resource position from which "anything is possible."

The GDS is a position that is held as an "iconic symbolic representation" in the words of Roye. The GDS organizes around this representation held as a specific internal submodality configuration which generates specific well formed behavioral markers that are unique to it. These are both idiomatic and idiosyncratic in form - that is there are both language and physiological markers that are unique to the individual while operating from the GDS. What this internal position organizes is a direction of attention along a trajectory which is both structurally and functionally well formed. For more specific information regarding the "Generative Imprint" Model contact Roye at NLP America/Blue Dell Systems directly.

[There are also two articles by Ann Gardner, a student and collaborator of Roye's, in past issues of "Anchor Point" which outline this model in much more detail.]

MythoSelf® Morphology 101

What I've done in the MythoSelf training program is to organize a way to map the massive linguistic form around which an individual organizes their experience in a teleological way as well as the specific somatic experience that this generates. The actual means we use to do this is what I refer to as Soma-Semantics modeling, a somatic-psychological model of the embodiment of individual ontology. Soma-Semantics modeling tracks the pre-verbal representations that are generated when an individual begins to access the ontology of their own well-being, how they know themselves to be whole and complete.

These preverbal representations are specifically tracked in the somatic representations that they generate in the minor muscular adjustments of the system as well as the behavioral representations that manifest. We then isolate this somatic form and amplify it's presence in the system until it becomes the baseline experience that the individual holds. From this organization of the somatic experience the language structure that is parallel to it is elicited and also isolated in a feedback loop, again amplifying and intensifying the experience held. This is the GDS, which becomes known to the individual as a non-verbal representation in the system that they can access with intention and deliberateness at will.

From this representation in the system we will then generate a massive representation through time in relation to something which is beyond the individual to contain, that which is Greater Than Self, the GTS. The GTS is also mapped as a Soma-Semantics representation. Using the same basic form that we use to map the GDS. Then from these two positions a "mythic" representation is elicited that is the representation along which the individual organizes themselves to become through time. This is their personal mythology, a way of becoming themselves at their best.

What is unique within this model is that using the two simultaneous trajectories of the GDS and the GTS, as well as other specific information that is generated and made manifest during this process, a holographic topology is elicited. This form is the Soma-Semantics representation - how the person creates and organizes what they know to be real. The structure of the holographic topology determines what the individual experiences as reality both in and through time. As any coordinating point of the topology shifts the whole of the topological form shifts and the individual experiences a shift in their reality structure. The shift in their reality structure generates a simultaneous shift in the behavioral manifestation of how they know themselves to be - their ontological awareness. When the topology is well formed to the individual there is no ontological longing. When the topology is well formed to the individual and in relation to how they know themselves through time - their personal mythology - there is no existential longing either.

What the Mythogenic Self training program introduces is a way of relieving both the ontological and existential longing of the individual by organizing their experience within their personal mythology as it is contained in the topology of their personal well being. How we do this is the structure of Soma-Semantics Modeling.
